Richard Patricio – Chairman

  • President and CEO of Mega Uranium Ltd. and has served in this capacity since February 2015.
  • Chairman and co-founder of Mindset Pharma. Previously served as the CEO of Pinetree Capital Ltd., a TSX-listed investment company specializing in early stage resource investments.
  • Sits on the Board of several companies, including NexGen Energy Ltd. (TSX, NYSE: NXE), Toro Energy Ltd. (ASX:TOE), and ISO Energy Ltd (TSXV:ISO).

Dr. Erkan Baloglu, PhD

  • 20+ years experience in small molecule drug discovery medicinal chemistry preclinical development, and early clinical development.
  • Key contributor to the FDA-approved oncology drug Selinexor (XPOVIO™).
  • Inventor and program lead for novel oral cancer therapies now in clinical development.

Dr. Chad Beyer, PhD

  • 25 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry creating and leading R&D portfolios across several therapeutic areas.
  • Participated in the submission of 34 INDs and operationalized more than 10 Phase 1 / Phase 2.
  • Authored more than 70 manuscripts, co-edited 2 books, and has served on the Board of Directors and Scientific Advisory Board of several private companies. 

Dr. Michael Rogawski, MD, PhD

  • Distinguished professor of neurology and pharmacology at the University of California-Davis. BA from Amherst College and MD and PhD (pharmacology) degrees from Yale University.
  • Research on AMPA receptors and neurosteroids have led to new treatment approaches for seizures and epilepsy and the marketed treatment for postpartum depression, brexanolone (Zulresso™).
  • Served as executive / associate editor, and on the editorial boards of multiple neurology and pharmacology journals.
